CANVAS uses a single font family sitewide and by default will set to Arial. Any web font is supported and can be used on CANVAS. 

We recommend that Latin-script languages adopt sans-serif or slab-serif fonts for optimal scalability. To ensure readability on touch devices, we don’t recommend using a font weight lighter than “Regular” or “Roman.” 

Font Size

Your brand can only specify a base font size. Additional sizes will be automated by CANVAS through a set of font size constants. The following values are a fixed ratio of the base size and can’t be individually adjusted.



Headers & Blocks 

It’s best to make your headers concise to avoid any unnecessary line breaks. And keep in mind, content blocks should be done carefully to avoid “widows.” See the diagrams below for more details.
